Barely a year old, situated at Strong’s Water Club, this farm-to-table, culinary hot spot is drawing customers by land and by sea. Favorites include buttermilk fried chicken sandwich ($18), jerk shrimp with quinoa, cashews, mushrooms and arugula ($32), Crescent farm duck breast with carrots, broccoli rabe in a port reduction ($36), wedge salad with bacon, tomatoes, chives and blue cheese dressing ($14), lobster guacamole with homemade chips ($26) and truffle parmesan fries ($9). Their wine menu features local favorites like Paumanok’s petite verdot, Bedell’s malbec, Macari’s rosé and Croteaux’s sparkling cuvee merlot. Plus their peaceful waterside bar serves drinks including a strawberry frozé and the types of libations only a seasoned mixologist can concoct, like I Forgot O, a blend of dark rum, Mr. Black, vanilla bean, cocoa, cream, cinnamon and egg whites.
